The Waves
The greatest resource in El Salvador besides it's people, are the waves. The 320 km of coastline
throughout El Salvador has a series of headlands and rivermouths that has made it paradise for surfers. There
are surfable waves over 300 days a year and always warm water. Some days are epic by anyone's standards.
World class poinbreaks, heaving barrels, long mushburgers, reefbreaks, beachbreaks and every other type of wave you want you
can find within a 45 minute drive from our property. The country is divided into two parts: La Libertad and The
Wild East. Check out the map. The breaks are listed below. Click on the break to see detailed info and pictures.

La Bocana Psuedo left/right reef/point. Any swell and any tide and light wind. Somewhat closed
out and kinda heavy. Only legitimate left in the country. Beware of localism.
El Cocal Right point and beachbreak. Needs organized swell with light winds and higher tide.
Conchalio Beachbreak. Not a very nice neighborhood but fun hollow wave. Needs light winds and
higher tide.
Punta Roca Epic right point. Long fast rides with plenty of tubes. Best wave in the country and it's
right in the center of town. Needs light winds and at least decent amount of swell. Handles massive swell.
Best at higher tides

and light winds.
La Vaca Right point one cliff away from Las Flores. Breaks along cliff. Rarely surfed. Needs
big swell. Have seen it epic. Kinda heavy.
Lucky Man's Super long right point. Needs huge swell. Mostly for longboarders or people fleeing from
big waves.
